Bridal and baby showers are a perfect excuse to try out a new project idea. (Yeah, I know. We don't really need an excuse, right?) |
I also made a dish drying mat, with a backing made of terry cloth. |
Last, I copied a friend's pattern for potholders. They are very easy, and it was quite refreshing to quilt and bind something that was so small! :) ~~~~ Shared with: Sew Many Ways Skip To My Lou Mommy By Day ~ Crafter By Night Tea Rose Home Polkadot-Pretties |
I love it all! The ruffles are so pretty and chic!
ReplyDeleteI love your kitchen set! Kitchen items are usually so quick to make, too. I love to give them as gifts. In fact, my friend called yesterday to tell me that her mom wants to hire me to make some things for a wedding gift. I love those dishmats, too! I made some as Christmas gifts and was delighted to see them in use when I next visited my family.
ReplyDeleteThese are some nice ideas. I'm not much on sewing but I might have to give these a try - for me!
