| A friend is attending a graduation this summer and wanted a dress for her seven-year-old daughter and matching ties for her two sons. She did a great job of picking the fabric...the ties and skirt are linen and the dress bodice is a cream-colored knit. The dress went together very quickly, and the ties...oh the ties! I've made ties before with a pattern found online...and I spent hours measuring and pressing and then measuring and pressing again. Last week, I came across Simplicity 4762 and decided to give it a try. It was super simple to work with, and the ties turned out beautifully. I was glad it was so simple when she requested a third tie for her nephew. |
