Kindle Cover

A while back, my daughter's teacher asked me to make a cover for her Kindle.
I found a pattern, made the cover, and discovered that the measurements were off.  I tried again...and it was still too big.  I'm hoping that this third attempt is right!  I rewrote the entire pattern, except for the measurement for one cut. 

Here is the inside view...

....and since my Nook is a different shape that the Kindle, I used a kid's book (which is almost the same size).  The black elastic across the top matches the black frame of her Kindle and will hold it tight, while it will sit down in the pocket at the bottom.  The cutout in the bottom allows for easy access to the Kindle's power button, volume control and charging port.
